Clyde Allen Perryman, age 61, from Belton, Missouri peacefully passed on July 28, 2025, at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS after battling lung cancer. He was surrounded by his family, church family and close friends.
Allen was born on November 10, 1963, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Clyde and Geraldine Perryman. Allen was energetic and led a very active life filled with family and friends. He was a member at LifeQuest Church for 20 years where he was a committed servant to the Church and his community.
Allen enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and listening to country and western music. His favorite musician was Merle Haggard. He was a risk taker from birth. His passion was dirt track racing which he did for 33 years.
He was a Petty Officer (Boatswains) in the United States Navy from 1981-1987. He joined the Navy with his cousin, Jerry (Tiger) Henson who have been each other's sidekick their entire lives.
Allen had a successful career in the automotive and transit industry.
Allen was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Cleo Perryman, and his brother, Fred Greenwood. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patsi Perryman; their children, Lindsey and Tyler Perryman; his mother, Geraldine Perryman; his sisters, Ronda Bailey, and Connie Thomas; along with numerous other friends and family members.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11am, Saturday, August 9, 2025, at LifeQuest Church, 1400 N Scott, Belton, MO 64012. Lunch to follow, all are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, Patsi (Allen's wife) has asked for donations to LifeQuest Church's future building project or checks may be written to LifeQuest Church (Note: Future Building Project).
