Coleman Pate Obituary
Coleman James Pate said farewell to this world on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025. Coleman passed away at his home in Lancaster, SC.
Coleman is survived by his father Jason Pate Sr of Lancaster and his mother Denise Fling of Spartanburg, grandparents Dennis and Gerri Dowdy and grandmother Joyce Pate. He had two brothers, Jason Pate Jr and Brian Dowdy and 3 sisters Kaylee Gray, Hannah Pate, and Carly Dowdy and a nephew Julio Pate. He was preceded in death by his brother DJ Fling and his grandfather James Pate.
Coleman enjoyed crocheting, gardening, video games, and spending times with his friends. Coleman spent many days with his best friend, his dog Leo. Coleman attended school in both Fort Mill and Indian Land. He last attended Indian Land High School in 2022.
While Coleman didn’t open up to many people, once you knew him he was your favorite person. Coleman had a warm and compassionate personality and his smile was infectious. Coleman left an indelible mark on the world and all of those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
He will be remembered for a lifetime by his family and friends.
