Connie Denise Casta, a beacon of love and faith, departed from this world on July 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with a long-term illness. Born on June 22, 1957, in Lexington, Kentucky, Connie's life was a testament to the power of selfless love and unwavering faith. Her final days were spent surrounded by the warmth and care of her loved ones in Seaford, Delaware.

Connie, known affectionately by her friends and family as a nurturing soul, dedicated much of her life to serving others through her work as a Nurse's Aide. Her commitment to helping those in need was not just a profession but a calling. She embodied the Christian values of compassion and charity, touching the lives of countless individuals with her kindness and generosity.

As a devout Christian, Connie's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. It guided her through life's challenges and inspired those around her to seek solace in their beliefs. Her love for God was evident in her every action, and her spirit reflected the grace and peace that comes from a life lived in devotion.

Family was the heart of Connie's world. She was a loving daughter to her mother, Barbara Casta, and cherished the memory of her father, Melvin Ward Sr., and stepfather Demmy Casta. Her bond with her son, Adam Casta Jr.(Carolyn Burket, significant other), was unbreakable, and she found great joy in spending precious moments with him. Connie's sister, Karen Pusey, and her brother, Melvin Ward Jr. (Mellisa Ward, wife), along with her nephew, Steven Pusey (Amanda Roeglin, significant other), will forever hold dear the memories of her unwavering support and affection.

Connie's interests were a reflection of her love for her family and friends. She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments spent in the company of her loved ones. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy to all who knew her. The words loving, faith-filled, and selfless best describe Connie. She lived her life as a testament to the power of putting others before oneself. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Connie's impact on the world was just such a thing-felt deeply by those who experienced her generosity of spirit.

Connie Denise Casta's legacy is one of enduring love and faith. Her life was a journey of giving, and her memory will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. She has now found rest in the loving embrace of her Creator, leaving behind a trail of light for all to follow. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched.
