Born on March 19, 1938, in Durango, Mexico, to the late Manuel and Ponciana (Vasquez) Mancillas, she brought joy and warmth to everyone around her. She embraced her Catholic faith and actively participated in the community at Mt. Zion Catholic Church, where she found joy and fellowship among friends. A woman of spice and spirit, Connie relished in the beauty of gardening, spending her days nurturing vibrant flowers and feeding the birds that graced her garden. Her love for travel led her to Texas frequently, where she danced and enjoyed life to the fullest. She will always be lovingly remembered for her delightful cooking, which brought warmth and joy to every gathering.
Surviving are: Children: Carols DeLeon and Elsa (Robert) Gossline: Granddaughters: Christiane Silvas, Tina (Richard) Bisard, Theresa (Adam) Piccard and many others; She was blessed with several great grandchildren; Sister, Beatrice. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Jerome Byrne; Son, BJ; Daughter, Christina Wright.
