Cora Henry Obituary

FRANKLIN - Cora Lee Hopper Henry, 80, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, after a period of declining health.
Cora was born Nov. 21, 1944, to the late Alex and Maggie McDowell Hopper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Pratt" Henry; an unborn grandchild; sisters, Mary Rose Helton and Mable Gregory; and brother, Troy Hopper.
Cora, a graduate of Franklin High School class of 1963, loved spending time with her family, reading, solving puzzles and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughter, Patrica "Patty" (Vance) Wall; son, James "Keith" (Shelli) Henry; grandson, Trevor Wall; sisters, Betty (John) Allen and Wanda Lou Pritchett; brothers, Floyd (Alice) Hopper, Roy (Pattie) Hopper and Harvey (Cheryl) Hopper; brother-in-law, Hoyt Helton; and caregiver, Alisha Sumner.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 11, at the Burningtown Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Randy Drinnon officiated. In honor of Cora's relaxed spirit, guests were invited to dress comfortably.
A time for viewing and quiet reflection was held for family and friends at Macon Funeral Home Thursday, July 10.
