Cornell Williams, born on January 17, 1958, passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 67. He was a dedicated automotive mechanic whose passion for cars extended beyond his professional life. Cornell's enthusiasm as a car enthusiast was evident to all who knew him. He found great joy in exploring the intricacies of automotive mechanics and sharing his knowledge with others. Cornell was a goodhearted man who was known for helping others.
In addition to his love for cars, Cornell cherished the tranquil moments spent fishing and relaxing at the beach. These interests brought him peace and contentment, and he often shared these hobbies with family and friends, creating lasting memories.
Cornell was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alan King and Ada Mary Williams. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Malena, his children: Ada, Antiatte, Perry, Junior, CJ, Tyrone, Mikeal, Mike and Cornell. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and his faithful dog, Yogi, along with a host of siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Services to commemorate Cornell's life will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Family and friends may gather from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM and again from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM, officiated by Bishop Agnew at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV. Cornell will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, helpfulness and kindness will endure in the hearts of those he touched.
