He was born on March 6, 1965, in Romney, WV, the son of the late Earl Lease and Doris McKee Goodwin. Craig was a self-employed tree trimmer & landscaper and the owner of Monkeyman Tree Service in Augusta, WV. He attended the Hanging Rock Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by one son, Craig A. "C.J." Lease, Jr. (Kristin) of Rio, WV; one granddaughter, Ellis Rose Lease; step-granddaughter, Hailey; four sisters, Janni McKee (Frankie) of Cross Junction, VA, Destiney Newlin (Mario) of Winchester, VA, Misty Guerra (William) of California, and Kristy Garcia (Hector) of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Craig to help defray funeral cost by clicking on the "Donate Now" tab under his tribute wall or by sending a contribution to the Lease Family, C/O Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory, PO Box 100, Capon Bridge, WV 26711.
