Curtis Ray Meredith, age 97, of Pioneer, TN. Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. He was born on February 11, 1928 to the late Roscoe and Addie Meredith. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was an employee of the United States Postal Service for 36 years. He was a member of Capitol Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, and was always willing to help his friends and neighbors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives: Nadine Meredith, and Jeanetta Meredith; Son: David Meredith; Brothers: Lawrence and Harley Meredith; Sister: Pauline Miller, and Joyce Ann Reynolds.
He is survived by his wife: Rachel Meredith; Sons: Danny and wife Regina Meredith, and Dexter and wife Jan Meredith; Daughters: Vickie and husband Denny Chambers, Angeletta and husband William (Bill) Pace; Grandchildren: Rebekah, Jared, Kristopher, Jonathan, Bryan, Matthew, Michael, Timothy, Amy and Lisa: Several Great-grandchildren; Sister-in-law: Judy Adkins; and numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Rev. Jared Meredith and Rev. William (Bill) Pace officiating. Interment to follow in the Campbell County Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
