Cynthia L. Putnam, 71, of Watertown, NY, passed away at Samaritan Medical Center on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Cynthia was born on June 7, 1954 in Manhattan, NY to Raymond Sr. and Emily (Tharrett) Koberger. Shortly after her birth, Cynthia's parents moved to Watertown, NY where they decided to stay and raise their family. Cynthia married Gene I. Putnam and together they raised their three children in Watertown, NY.
Cynthia obtained her Associate's degree online and worked as a dietician at Samaritan Medical Center. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, watching tv, playing games on her tablet, and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her best friend Darlene Montgomery.
Cynthia is survived by her Mother, Emily Koberger, her children, Sheri (Robert) Schuster, Thomas (Malisa Chamberlain) Putnam, and Nicole (Colby) Ford, her siblings, Raymond (Julie) Koberger, Debbie (Steve) Bigelow, and Mike (Juli) Koberger, her three grandchildren, Derek (Shawna), Alexander, and Chasity, her six great grandchildren, Ryker, Luxie, Maysen, Oliver, Paxton, and Phoenix, her best friend, Darlene Montgomery, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cynthia was predeceased by her husband Gene I. Putnam on June 5, 2012, as well as her father, and baby sister Carol Koberger.
