Cynthia Weaver, 63, of Nacogdoches passed away on June 27, 2025 in Nacogdoches. She was born on January 24, 1962 in Kankakee, Illinois.
Memorial service will be held for Cynthia Weaver at New Hope Congregational Methodist Church on July 13th at 4:00 p.m. with Brian Tyre officiating.
Cynthia was born on January 24th, 1962, in Kankakee Illinois. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Ann Jagersma Rixie. Her teenage years were spent in south Florida where she lived with her family until moving to Nacogdoches to attend college. She earned a degree in Animal Science and met and married her husband Howard Weaver. Together they built a home and welcomed one child, Jessica Weaver Palacio.
Later in life Cindi became interested in accounting and opened her own Tax Service business. Cindi was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her grandchildren, Natalia, Julian and Jazmine Palacio, were the light, love and joy of her life. She gave everything and expected nothing. She supported countless individuals through illness, pain, addiction and grief.
Cindi received many awards, trophies and titles throughout her life but the most important thing in her life was Jesus Christ. She was a devout servant of her Lord and Savior. She has been a member of New Hope for more than 35 years. Her brothers and sisters in Christ, at New Hope church, have been her refuge, her strength and friends for the majority of her life.
Cindi is preceded in death by her parents, Ken and Ann Rixie, her beloved brother Rod Rixie and stepchildren, Sondra Weaver and Lewis Weaver.
Cindi is survived by her husband of 38 years, Howard Weaver. Her daughter Jessica Palacio and husband, Ignacio, stepdaughters, Linda Manning and Marilyn Morris, and grandchildren Natalia, Julian and Jazmine Palacio. She is also survived by her sisters, Georgia Broz (Gary). Chou Crook (Cary), Chella Purcell (Tim), Renee Rixie (James), Mamie Chambless (Harrell), and her dearest childhood friend, Cyndy Klee, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
