Dallas Russell Schuster, Jr., 61, passed away on July 21, 2025. He was born on May 5, 1964 in Cadillac, Michigan to Dallas and Elda Jean (Austin) Schuster.

Dallas grew up in the Ypsilanti area, but spend a lot of time with family in the Boon/ Mesick area. As an adult, he moved back to Cadillac, where he worked at multiple occupations. In 2020, he became a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Lake City.

He is survived by his love, Paula Schuster, of Cadillac; daughter, Joy and Joshua Beard, and grandson, Jameson, of Katy, Texas; son, Zakary Slocum of Grand Rapids, Michigan; daughter, Pallas Schuster and Jeremy Ward of Minneapolis, Minnesota; father, Dallas Schuster, Sr.; mother, Elda Jean Austin; brothers, Ron Schuster, Dan (Andrea) Schuster, Jason Bohannon, and Michael Hepner; and numerous nieces and nephews;

He was preceded in death by his step-mom, Susan Schuster.

Dallas loved to be outside hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. He loved being a father and grandfather, and spending time with his family, especially his grandson. He was often the cook at family fish fry's and reunions. He also enjoyed going to the Eagles with his dad, visiting and doing pull-tabs.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
