Memorial Services for Dana Carole Rhodes, 80, of Tyler, Texas will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Community Christian Fellowship in Lindale with Pastor Don Crum officiating.
Ms. Rhodes passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025 in Tyler.
Dana Carole (Ridling) Rhodes was born on April 3, 1945 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Kermit D. Ridling and Myra D. (Clark) Ridling. She attended Excelsior High School in Norwalk, California and graduated from Roxanne Beauty College in Norwalk, California. Dana taught preschool in her home, public, and private schools and she was a school of the arts administrator for Ballet Magnificat in Jackson, Mississippi. Dana was married to Robert for 42 years before his passing. Dana dedicated her life to her Lord Jesus Christ and lived her life for Him. She was a mighty prayer warrior for all that knew her and enjoyed hosting her prayer group with her dear friends. She loved family gatherings and creating memories with her children and grandchildren especially at Christmas. Dana enjoyed a good cup of coffee and great conversation.
Dana was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Myra Ridling, her husband, Robert Rhodes and granddaughter, Natalie Oland Ingram.
She is survived by her loving family including daughter Daniese Oland of Tyler, Texas (children: Amber, Jonathan, & Christian), son David Rhodes and wife Alicia of Bullard, Texas (children: Jeremy & wife Kendyll, Abigail & husband Steven, and Allyson & husband Andrew), daughter Deborah Nunn and husband Frank of Phoenix, Arizona (children: Charles, Ryan, and Skyler), son Garret Rhodes and wife Kristi of Mesa, Arizona (children: Molli, Jack, & Josie), daughter Shelagh Crum and husband Ben of Bullard, Texas, sister Lana Burke of Kansas City, Missouri, six great-grand children, and a niece.
