Daniel Juan Alvarado, a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on June 28, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on October 25, 1959, in El Paso, Texas, Daniel's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and joy that touched all who knew him.
Daniel was a proud son of Agustin and Margarita (Pacheco) Alvarado, who preceded him in death, as did his beloved grandsons, Matthew and Benjamin. His devotion to family was the cornerstone of his life. He shared a beautiful marriage of 43 years with his wife, Bernadette Alvarado, a union that was a testament to enduring love and partnership.
Blessed with a loving family, Daniel is survived by his children, Jessica Bartek and her husband Matthew, Daniel Alvarado and his wife Krystal, and Nicole Alvarado. He was the adored grandfather of Isabella, Santiago, Joshua, Lucas, and Eric, who brought immense joy and laughter to his life. Daniel is also survived by his caring sister, Margarita Lara and her husband Ernesto, and his brother, Joseph Alvarado. Each family member held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Professionally, Daniel made his mark in the telecommunications industry, where he was known for his reliability and expertise. Daniel's handyman skills were legendary, not only within the confines of his home and yard but also in the service of others. He was always the first to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors in need.
An avid 49ers fan, Daniel's enthusiasm for sports was infectious. He enjoyed bowling and music, especially rock & roll, and his love for Mexican cuisine was well-known among his loved ones. Daniel's legacy is one of love and handiness, a man who could fix anything but, more importantly, knew how to keep the bonds of family strong and resilient.
