Keith was born in Eastman, GA on March 1, 1954, to Geraldine Kelly Evans and the late Robert Lee Evans. He was a 1972 graduate of Dodge County High School and a member of Zebulon Baptist Church. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and was a sharpshooter. Upon leaving the Army, he went to work for Coffee Construction Company and worked with the road paving crew for over 17 years. He was a kind-hearted man who lived by the "Golden Rule". He enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music, shooting pool, and spending time with his mother and family.
He is survived by his Mother – Geraldine Kelly Evans of Byron, GA; Sister – Mary Shelia Evans Horne of Byron, GA; Numerous extended family members and friends.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Geraldine Evans, 134 Shamrock Circle, Byron, GA 31008. The family has requested that any contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Keith.
