MARSHALL – Daniel Farris Hensley, 23, of Marshall, NC, went home to be with our Lord on Friday, June 27, 2025.
Daniel was born on April 7, 2002. He worked as a lineman for Sumter Utilities. He attended Paynes Chapel Baptist Church. He loved hunting and being outdoors. He was a light and a friend to everyone and was loved by so many.
Daniel was preceded in death by his grandfather, Phillip Collins; great grandparents, Spurgeon and Rinda Brooks.
Left to cherish Daniel's memory are his parents, Farris Hensley and Kimberly Winwood; his wife, Jillian Nicole Hensley; brothers, Michael Hensley (Brooklyn), Timothy Hensley (Madison), Charlie McCarthy; nephew, Oliver Wade Hensley; honorary brother, Tucker Brown; honorary sister, April Brown; grandparents, Farris and Barbara Hensley, Darlene Marlor; aunt, Deborah Hensley; uncle, Allen Winwood; mother and father-in-law, Dwight and Cathy Ledford; and so many other family and friends that loved him so dearly.
He will be greatly missed by so many.
A funeral service will be held for Daniel on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Paynes Chapel, with Jimmy Dean Hensley and Dwayne Tweed officiating. Burial will follow in Paynes Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home.
