Daniel Peterson Obituary

The family of Daniel Peterson, is heartbroken to announce his passing on June 19, 2025, at the age of 88. He was born on April 9, 1937, in Alexandria Louisiana, to Daniel Peterson, Sr. and Lula Taylor Peterson. He was brought up in a Christian home, Daniel accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. Daniel received his formal education from Peabody High School. Daniel met, fell in love and married Ella Lee Willis. Together they had a blessed blended family of seven children. He was a hard worker as a Welder for many years. He was an avid lover of the Houston Astros and he also loved fishing. Daniel made his glorious entry into Heaven's gate, and his loved ones greeting him were his parents, Daniel Sr., and Lula Peterson; his son, Daniel Peterson, Jr.; his daughter Felicia Mapp; his siblings, Gurthereen, Gustavis, Luella Jean, and Gloria Jean. Although Daniel is resting and is at peace, he leaves to cherish his memory to his wife, Ella Peterson; his children, Cynthia Lane (Tommy), Sharon Hood, Debra Washington, Tonya Frederick, and Richard Morgan; his brothers, Clarence Peterson (Ruby), and Cletho Peterson; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; a special family friend, Helen Smalls and many more friends and family.
