Danny H. Murry, age 89, a beloved member of both his family and community, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma. Born on July 7, 1936, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Danny lived a life rich in adventure, resilience, and deep love for those around him.

He spent many years on the road as a long-haul truck driver—a career that suited his independent spirit and love for travel. Beyond his work, Danny found joy in simple pleasures: playing poker, fishing, and watching classic westerns. A lifelong admirer of horses, he held a deep appreciation for their grace and strength. Yet, more than anything, Danny cherished time spent with his family—especially his grandchildren, with whom he shared a close and treasured bond.

Danny is survived by three children: Tony Murry, Randy Murry, and Patricia Seaton; his siblings, Gene Meyer, Mary Murry, and Linda Smart; as well as many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and adventure.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Ethel (Shipley) Murry; his beloved wife, Ernesteen “Patsy” Murry; his sons, Gary Murry and Danny L. Murry; his grandson, Joshua Murry; and his sister, Louise Fancer.

Danny will be deeply missed by his family and the many friends and acquaintances whose lives he touched along the way. His memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
