In Loving Memory of Danny Fonseca Rosales October 2, 1956 – May 22, 2025
Danny Fonseca Rosales, affectionately known as "Safety Dan," passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on October 2, 1956, in Raymondville, Texas, Danny was one of seven siblings raised in a warm and close-knit home. From an early age, he embodied the values of faith, family, and hard work-principles that would guide him throughout his life.
A proud graduate of King High School, Class of 1976, Danny was a talented football player and a loyal friend. At just 18, he ventured to California on his own, beginning a remarkable journey that would span over four decades as a dedicated Safety Coordinator in the refining industry. His unwavering commitment to the well-being of others earned him the beloved nickname "Safety Dan."
Danny's greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted father to Daniel Aaron Rosales and Amanda Nicole Rosales, and a loving father-in-law to John Alaimo. His heart overflowed with pride for his grandsons, Graham Orion Alaimo and Bryce Titan Alaimo, who brought endless light into his life. He is survived by his children and grandchildren, as well as his cherished siblings: Elizabeth Ceballos, Sylvia (Joe) Palacios, Adam Rosales, Edward Rosales, Sandra (David) Laurel, and Yvonne (Alec) Cohen. He also leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom he loved deeply.
Danny is now reunited in eternal peace with his parents, Adam Alcantar Rosales, Sr., and Ophelia Fonseca Rosales.
Danny was a man of deep faith, a loyal brother, a proud Papa, and a steadfast friend. He found joy in the simple pleasures-riding his Harley, cheering on his favorite football teams, and attending car shows. His laughter, wisdom, and unwavering love will be missed beyond measure.
A public visitation will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. All funeral services will conclude in the chapel.
Danny's legacy of love, faith, and strength will live on in all who knew him. May he rest in God's eternal embrace.
