Norton, Va.-Darrell Lynn Caruso, 75, went home to be with his many loved ones and friends that he spoke of often and missed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at his home.
Darrell was born on March 9, 1950 to Joseph and Emma Lou Caruso. He was a lifelong resident of Norton, Va. and a 1968 graduate of J. I. Burton High School. Darrell was an independent insurance agent, along with his father, selling for Intermountain Insurance Agency for many years.
He was a devoted father and grandfather. His time was well spent loving on each of them. He lived life in laughter and was a friend to all he met.
Gone before him but not forgotten was his mother, Emma Lou and father, Joey. He leaves behind so many that will miss him so so much, his wife, Terry Caruso; son, Darren Caruso; daughter, Emily Caruso Layne and husband, Kevin; six grandchildren, Chelsea Caruso, Kaden Layne, Alex Caruso, Cooper Layne, Zeke Caruso and Zion Caruso; one sister, Toni Chandler; an aunt, Barbara Caruso; nephew, Josh Chandler; niece, Emma Enscore; and many beloved cousins.
Services are private.
