Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Tessie Hall Baptist Church , 320 Boxankle Road, Forsyth, Georgia. Pastor T.O. Sams officiating. Burial in Rest Haven Cemetery, 525 Hwy. 83 South, Forsyth, Georgia. Service is scheduled to be Streamed Live on our Facebook page. Public viewing will be Friday, July 18th from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Keep the family in prayer. Mr. Darrin "Brutt" Ritchie Walton was born in Forsyth, Georgia on April 17,1965 to the late Mr. Arlis Walton Sr. and Evelyn Stone Walton Allen. He was the fourth out of five children. The Lord called upon him from labor to reward Monday, July 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his sister Charlene Walton and brother Arlis Walton Jr. Darrin was known to many as "Brutt". Growing up, he spent a lot of time side by side with his uncle, the late Mr. Fletcher Evans. At the age of thirteen, he began to learn a trade in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other related skills. Upon graduation from Mary Persons High School in1983, he enlisted in the United States Army. During his six-year tenure, he realized that carpentry was his passion. Mr. Walton also briefly worked for Monroe County Board of Education. On March 07, 2003, Darrin married Mrs. Ann Battle Walton. In his free time, you could surely find him on a fishing pond. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 22 years, Mrs. Ann Battle Walton of Forsyth, Georgia; three daughters, Ms. Isabella Henderson, Ms. Peyton Rodgers, and Ms. Yuneikqua Grier; two sons, Mr. Darrin Walton and Mr. Tyler Strickland Henderson all of Forsyth, GA; one sister, Ms. Charlotte W. Mays of Forsyth, GA; one brother, Mr. Terrance (Amber) Walton of Jacksonville, NC; five sisters in law, Ms. Aretha Shannon, Ms. Gladys McElroy, Ms. Sue Smith, Ms. JoAnn Chambliss, and Ms. Lula Lewis all of Forsyth, Georgia; one brother in law, Mr. Alfred (Brenda) Chambliss of Forsyth, Georgia; one aunt Ms. Marcella Walton of Fayetteville, NC and one uncle, Mr. Luther Walton of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren, Natalia, Mileena, Lucian, Charlie, Kasey, Daelen, Jamichael, and Nyashia, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; four dear friends, Mr. Deric Jordan, Mr. Anthony Shannon, Mr. Bernard Cook and Mr. Patrick Calloway all of Forsyth, GA.
