Clark Darwin "Bubba" Hauk, 59, of Memphis, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Bubba was born March 15, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Kenneth Olin, Sr. and Marie Joyce Vassholz Hauk.

He attended Scotland County High School, in Memphis, Missouri. After school he began a career driving a truck, at first over the road hauling for Richers Trucking and then for Grain Train Express before owning and operating his own as "Moonlite Express".

Bubba and his dog "Ruby" were members of the Memphis VFW and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and pull tabs, and collecting guns; but most of all he loved being around family, kids, and his friends.

Darwin is survived by "Ruby"; his mother, Joyce Hauk of Memphis, Missouri; a brother, Kenneth and Dana Hauk of Memphis, Missouri; a sister, Sherri and Mark Gillum of Unionville, Missouri; special friends, Shawna Stone, Chris Bliefert and Jimmy Wheeler along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Hauk; and a brother, Douglas Brett Hauk.

Please join the family for a luncheon from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Memphis VFW on November 2, 2025. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Memphis Cemetery. Afterwards the family invites you back to the Memphis VFW for continued fellowship and one of Bubba's favorite past times, the Kansas City Chief's football game.

An expression of sympathy in memory of Darwin Hauk may be left to the Memphis VFW or St Jude's Hospital. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Memphis Funeral Home 378 S. Market Street, Memphis, Missouri 63555.
