David Camp Obituary

David Allen Camp, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 29, 2025, in Sharpsburg, Georgia. Born on March 11, 1965, in Decatur, Illinois, he was 60 years old at the time of his passing. David dedicated many years of his life to serving as an auto mechanic for the Fayette County Police and Fire Department. His commitment to his work and community was unwavering, and he will be remembered for his quiet strength and dedication. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay Camp; his son, Michael Camp. He also leaves behind his cherished parents, Jimmy and Carol Camp; his brothers, Jimmy Leon Camp, Jr. and his wife, Lydia; Jeffery Lynn Camp; and Michael Scott Camp and his wife, Tracy; and his sister, Monica Camp Keel and her husband, Joe. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 11 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sharpsburg Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Parrott Funeral Home. David will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
