David Craig Carmean, 65, of New London, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born on November 17, 1959 in Findlay, Ohio to Silas and Jane (Lloyd) Carmean. He graduated from Ada High School in 1978.
Dave spent the majority of his career as a CMM Programmer in the manufacturing industry. Music was important throughout Dave's life and he was a phenomenal drummer, performing with several bands and teaching others, including his brothers. Growing up, he enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie with his dad and brothers. He had a heart of gold and gladly helped his family and friends. He took great pride in raising his daughters. He was also a wonderful husband to his wife, Yvonne, whom he married on June 16, 2021.
Dave is survived by his wife, Yvonne; daughters, Callie (Parker) Ruble, Brooke (Neil) Taylor, and Dusty Ramirez; 7 grandchildren; father, Silas Carmean; siblings, Rob Carmean, Karen (Brian) Smith, and Chris (Lindsey Goodman) Carmean; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane (Lloyd) Carmean; and brother, John Carmean.
Per Dave's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Eastman Funeral Home in New London is honored to assist the family with their arrangements.
