DAVID ALAN HAYES, age 58, of Jeffersonville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at his home.
He was born on September 12, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio to Richard Franklin and Sharon Ann (Steel) Hayes. He was a 1984 graduate of Grove City High School. David worked at American Freight in building maintenance until his health would no longer allow. He enjoyed NASCAR, gun collecting, gardening, canning, and eating his very own sweet corn.
David was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Renee Bigelow.
Survivors include his parents, Dick and Sharon Hayes; his loving and devoted wife, Christina Lynn (Reed) Hayes whom he married on September 10, 1994; and his beloved Yorkie, Sam, also loving known as Billy. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Deer Creek Township Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
