David Gregory Hewitt, 64, of Gordon, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2025 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Care Animal Rescue in Mingus, Texas, a cause that David felt strongly about.
David was born on January 24, 1961 to James Hewitt and Suzanne Wattier in Dallas. He graduated from Valley View High School in 1979.
David had a love of animals and the outdoors. His favorite hobbies were raising cattle and goats, and telling stories. He loved spending time with his wife Michelle and many smaller critters at home.
David was preceded in death by his father, James Hewitt; and his birth mother, Suzanne Wattier.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle; his sister, Jamie Salz; mother, Sandra Hewitt; nephew, Cole Johnson; his niece, Peyton Salz; many cousins, in-laws and out-laws.
