David Lloyd Obituary

SUMMITVILLE, IN – David E. "Dave" Lloyd, 46, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Community Hospital in Anderson after being stricken suddenly ill at his home.
He was born on October 11, 1978, in Marion to David and Karen (Hutchison) Lloyd and has lived in Summitville all his lifetime. He was a graduate of Madison-Grant High School-Class of 1996. Dave had worked at Red Gold. He was currently employed at R & R Engineering in Summitville. He was a member of Alexandria Eagles #1771. Dave enjoyed collecting sports cards and was a fan of the New York Yankees and the Indiana Pacers. He enjoyed time spent with his "family of friends," especially attending concerts and events. Dave was a social and giving person who enjoyed the living of his life to its fullness. While our hearts are broken, we are comforted to know that the party continues with "Griff" and Dave together now.

Dave was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents- Richard and Mary Lloyd, his Maternal Grandparents-Levi Hutchison and Mary Lewis Dockery.
The Lloyd family will receive friends at the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria from 4 pm to 5:45 pm on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. The Alexandria Eagles Lodge will conduct a Memorial Service beginning at 5:45 pm Wednesday in the funeral home. A sharing time with family and friends will begin at 6 pm Wednesday. Cremation will follow the service. Following the sharing time, Dave's life celebration will continue at the Alexandria Eagles Lodge, 217 East Cleveland Street, (State Road 28) Alexandria, IN 46001.
