David Myers Obituary

He made his last memories while serving as an engineer on the Liberty Clipper. As part of the tall ships tour, he sailed around the Great Lakes. He met great friends and had a lot of fun on the tour.
The clipper crew and team members at 3D Boatyard will miss having him around. He was known as "Red" to the people in the shipyard and as "Yanky" to his older friends in his "hippy" days.
David is survived by his sons, Jethro, Emmet, and Emery, and his daughters, Beka and Hannah. He is also remembered by his first love, Nina Dietz, the mother of his first sons.
David can be described by his estranged but successful children as planting many wild seeds. While he was, to put it mildly, "not the best gardener", the seeds grew and bore fruit of their own.
Arrangements were entrusted to Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center.
