David Lee Parrent, age 55, of Willow Hill, Illinois, passed away at 3:30 AM – Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at his home.
A visitation for family and friends will be held 6:00 to 7:00 PM - Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. In loving memory of David, memorials may be made to the family. The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left www.meyerfh.com.
David was born on August 13, 1968, in Olney, Illinois, the son of Homer Dean and Mary (Lamb) Parrent. He graduated from high school in Vernal, Utah. After high school he attended college working on a degree in carpentry.
David had worked at GSI in Newton. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, gardening and scraping. David was always willing to lend a hand to help anyone in need.
David is survived by:
Children – Paige Parrent (Jesse Smith) of Tower Hill, Illinois
Skyler Parrent of Hunt City, Illinois
Siblings – Linda Parrent, Eddie Flexter, Patricia Stockon, Bill Parrent, and Lisa Parrent
David was preceded in death by his parents, sister Wanda Snyder and a brother Ronnie Parrent.
