David Lawrence Prawdzik Jr.

1984-2024

David Lawrence Prawdzik Jr (better known as Davy to close friends and family), meaning beloved, was born to Karen Ann Prawdzik and David Lawrence Prawdzik Sr. on July 15th, 1984, in Albuquerque, NM. He was perfect. He was and always will be immensely treasured.

David was raised by both his parents along with his older sister, Robin Prawdzik in Albuquerque, NM. He met the love of his life Gabrielle in 2013 and married her on April 7th 2023. They have two children, Allison Marie Prawdzik is who 9 and Isaac Lawrence Prawdzik who is 2.

Davy poured his heart and soul into his work and all the people he worked with absolutely admired him. There truly wasn’t anything that Davy couldn’t do, he was a genius. He touched everybody’s lives and made it a point to make all those he encountered feel so important and special. He showed up when it mattered, had your back, gave to those in need, and would defend and stand up for his loved ones should the need for it arise. He kept us safe.

Davy had a passion for fishing, dirt bike riding and four wheeling. He was a great cook and always enjoyed cooking for his family. He enjoyed all genres of music and loved going to concerts. Davy also enjoyed sports. His teams were the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a Marvel fan and absolutely loved Spider-Man.

On October 31st, 2024, God decided that he needed David and therefore he passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. David’s death has left all his family, friends and all that had the blessing of knowing him in absolute turmoil. He had so many hopes, dreams, and goals for his life.

Davy is survived by his grandmother (nana) Mary Parrish, his Father David Lawrence Prawdzik Sr, Mother Karen Ann Prawdzik, Sister Robin Nicole Prawdzik, Niece Arielle Rodriguez (AKA monkey butt), Wife Gabrielle Lopez, His daughterAllison and Son Isaac. As well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved fish Spider-Man.

If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home.” Author Unknown.

Memorial service will be held on November 23rd, 2024 at 2:00pm. The services will be held at the Albuquerque Central Seventh Day Adventist Church located at 2201 Estancia Dr. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120
