He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Terese Smith, nee Kleiber. Loving father to Emily (Ishac) Koussa and Amanda (Ryan) Bauer. Cherished grandfather to Wadih & Laith Koussa and Julia & Anna Bauer.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York Street, Elmhurst, Illinois in the Fireside Room, directly followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 a.m. at Visitation Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
