David L. Van Cleve passed away on July 25, 2025 at the age of 70. Dave was born March 6, 1955 in St. Charles, MO to the late John and Virginia Van Cleve nee Hager.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ronnie Van Cleve nee Henry; two sons, Dustin (Kristina) Van Cleve of Troy, MO, Jamey (Lydia) Van Cleve of Winfield, MO; grandchildren, Samantha, Olivia, Cole, Mitchell, Rylie Van Cleve and Austin Bray. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Fred Van Cleve.

Dave proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Dave married his wife Ronnie on August 10, 2013 in Foristell, MO and they celebrated almost 12 years together. Dave was a retired bus driver for Wright City and Warrenton School Districts. Dave loved the Christmas season, as he loved playing "Santa" and watching all the children's faces light up over the last 40 years. He enjoyed going on road trips around Missouri, riding his motorcycle, and being outdoors having bonfires as he was known to be the "keeper of the flame" to his family and friends, and he also enjoyed playing different games on his phone especially Hogwarts. Dave's calm demeanor, gentle smile, and friendly HO HO HO, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorials may be made to: American Cancer Society in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 126 Warrenton, MO 63383
