On April 3, 2025, David H. Wade, age 85, went home to be with the Lord. Born in Virginia, David lived in Wardensville, West Virginia for 20 years. He loved the outdoors and living near the mountains. Most recently, he moved to Crofton to be close to his daughter. David worked for the railroad for many years until he was laid off. He then worked for Giant Food for 26 years until retiring. An excellent pool player, David's pool league almost made it to the finals in Las Vegas. He also enjoyed playing cards with his friends, especially poker. An outdoorsman, David enjoyed hunting deer and spending time in the mountains he loved so much. When he was home, you could find in front of the TV, watching Wheel of Fortune or all the old-time Westerns. Most especially, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Beloved father of Darlene Jones and Brenda Prins; caring brother of Donald Wade; cherished grandfather of David, Melissa, and Daniel Bridegum. He is also survived by many loving family members and dear friends.
