Debra Kay "Debbie" Harrison Besaw, 66, of Louisiana, MO, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the Maple Grove Lodge in Louisiana, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO. The Rev. Brenda Culp officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Debbie was born on October 16, 1958 in Alton, IL to Roy Harrison and Mary Niffen Harrison. She was raised in Newbern, IL where she attended school in Jersey county. As an adult, she moved to Alton, IL where she raised her 3 children and then married the late Tom Besaw. After her husbands passing in 2005, she moved to Louisiana, MO in 2008 to be near her mother where she lived until her passing. She is survived by her mother Mary Harrison Foiles, her son Jason Craig and wife Amber, 2 daughters Mary Kay Gibbs and Theresa Beavers, 15 grandchildren Travis, Triston, Taylor, Ashlyn, Mackenzy, Cody, Adam, Hayden, Harper, Bryson, Chloe, Bradley, Delaney, Henry, and Alexander, 2 great grandchildren Adalynn and Athena, 3 brothers Roy A. Harrison (Maggie), Lester Harrison (Roxy), and David Harrison, 3 sisters Angela Reddick, Lydia Weissenfluh (Paul), and Kathy Tepen (John), along with multiple uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Roy A. Harrison in 1994, and her husband Tom Besaw in 2005. Debbie was a Christian and had attended churches in the local area over the years. She was a homemaker, loved the outdoors, tanning, and listening to the birds singing. She loved to sing all types of music, loved Jesus, and loved her family, every one of them. She enjoyed doing seek & find word searches, and to color things. She loved pigs and butterflies, and especially Christmas. She would sing Christmas songs to her kids and grandkids. She loved to watch Hallmark movies, Leave it to Beaver, I Love Lucy, and Gunsmoke, and her favorite foods were sweet & sour chicken, hamburgers, tacos, and ice cream.
