Debbie Stephens McLemore, 66, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home in Moulton, AL. In honor of Debbie's wishes, the family will have a private burial service.
Born on August 2, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama, to Edward and Dorothy Lucas Stephens, Debbie was a graduate of Auburn University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. She loved to travel, scrapbook, cook, and all things pretty, including her flowers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughters.
Survivors include her children: Martin Stephen (Amy) McLemore, Trent Ray (Sarah) McLemore, and Trey Lucas McLemore; grandchildren: Catherine Anna-Mark McLemore, Betsy James McLemore and Ruth Ray McLemore; Mother: Dorothy Stephens; sister: Charlotte Stephens Conwell; nieces: Rachel (Alfred) Lockoak and Becca (Ari) Grant. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Edward Stephens.
