Deborah Jean Lyons, born on October 29, 1958, in Abilene, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loving family after a brave fight against a long-term illness. She was a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to the love she had for her family and the joy she found in being a devoted mom and grandmother.
Deborah's greatest passion was unmistakably her family. Her heart was full as she embraced the roles of mother and grandmother, lovingly known as "Nana". She poured her heart and soul into her family, finding immense joy in every moment spent with them. Deborah was not just a mother; she was a nurturer, a guiding light, and a source of endless support. Her kitchen was a haven of warmth, filled with the comforting aromas of her delicious cooking. She is survived by her father, Pete Boehler, who has been a steadfast figure in her life. Her son, Richard Logan, and fiancé Eileen Curtis, along with her daughter, Tamara Owens, and her husband Brian Owens, carry her legacy forward with love. Deborah was immensely proud of each of her grandchildren: Trista Logan, Rylan Curtis, Makayla Owens, Rilee Owens, Melea Owens, Mason Owens, Reghan Owens, Remington Owens, and her bonus granddaughter, Arabella Bardash. Each of them held a special place in her heart, reminding her daily of the love and laughter that filled her life.
Deborah's brother, Jeff Boehler, and sister, Janet Osborne, and her spouse Greg Cobbs provided her with comfort and companionship in times of need. The bonds of family were vital to her, as she cherished the relationships with multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews that rounded out her beautiful family tapestry.
Deborah is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Joyce Boehler, whose love shaped Deborah into the woman she became. She is also reunited in spirit with her grandparents, M.L and Ola Boehler and David and Lucille Vaughn, and her brother Tim Boehler, aunts LaNelle Owens, Patricia Clifton, and her uncles David, Larry, and Michael Vaughn, as well as her nephew Russell Hadley and niece Stacy Hadley. She will be missed dearly by all
