Debra Justiss Dyer, 71 of Mt. Pleasant passed away on July 5, 2025.
Debbie was born to Renford and Mildred Justiss in Mt. Pleasant, Texas on June 12, 1954.
Debbie had a varied work career including Long Haul Trucker, oil field work, and owner of D&D Mailing.
Debbie is survived by her daughter Dayna and husband Alex Mendonsa, two grandsons, Brixton and Gunnar, all of Dallas. She is also survived by sisters Mary Turner Kinsey and husband Leo of Mt. Pleasant, Marbie Roesler and husband Bob of Chandler, and Mildred Rainey of Mt. Pleasant, sister in law Cheryl Nichols and brother in law Paul Nichols, niece Shawnna Helmberger and husband Dave, nephews John Williams and wife Catie of North Carolina, Daniel and Dawn Rainey of Royse City, Kevin and holly Rainey of Broken Arrow, Ok, three great nieces, and five great nephews, and two great great nieces. She is also survived by Special Friend Michael Dyke and numerous cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Kenneth, and niece Carla Farmer, and first husband Dayne Nichols who always remained a close friend of the family up until his passing.
Special thanks to Dierksen Hospice for their care and support for Debbie and the family.
There will be a visitation at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday July 8, 2025. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at 2:00 P.M at the Old Union Cemetery.
