Mrs. Debra Ann Ingram, age 66, of
Rome, GA, passed away on Sunday February 15, 2026, at a local hospital.
Mrs. Ingram was born in Floyd County, GA, on November 12, 1959, daughter of the late Monroe Highfield and the late Betty Bailey Highfield. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Gary Lamar Highfield. Mrs. Ingram was a loving homemaker who made it her life's mission to take care of her family. She adored her family, especially her grands and great grands, and loved cooking and baking for them any opportunity she had. Mrs. Ingram loved playing with her family and was known for the softball games in their back yard. Her greatest hobbies were watching T.V., especially her gameshows, and shopping on her phone, Temu and Shein didn't stand a chance. Mrs. Ingram loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, above everything and is now rejoicing in His presence for eternity.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Gary Ingram, to whom she was married on May 26, 1978; 7 children, Shane Ingram, Dawayne Ingram (Jade), Michael Ingram (Victoria), Tiffany Ely (Randall), Nathan Ingram, Hope Louallen, and Kevin Bevels; 17 grandchildren, Chance Ingram, Logan Ingram, Cameron Ingram, Timothy Louallen, Christopher Louallen, Johnathan "J.T." Louallen, Aryana Ingram, Nevaeh Ingram, Victor Ingram, Michael Ingram, Jr., Terron Ingram, Angel Ingram (Mason), Jonathan Ely, Zoe Ely, Evie Wiggle, and Cody Ingram; 2 great grandchildren, Rayne Louallen and Raylynn Louallen; 2 siblings, Jewel Galloway and Kyle Highfield; numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery, Silver Creek.
The family will receive friends from 10am until 12pm on Tuesday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Pallbearers are to assemble by 11:30am on Tuesday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: active, Charles Gary Ingram, Michael Ingram, Randall Ely, Johnathan Ely, Mason Prosser, Bryant LeCroy, and Kevin Bevels; honorary, Nathan Ingram.
