Debra Lynn Sevier, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, surrounded by three of her sons. She was 70 years old.
Born on April 1, 1955, in Duarte, California, to Ardith and Ralph Severe, Debra brought light and laughter wherever she went. Her contagious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to others defined her life and legacy.
Debra dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a role she embraced with deep compassion and commitment. After her retirement, she spent her time living with each of her five children, creating cherished memories and continuing to share her warmth and wisdom.
She had a passion for baking-especially her famous brownies-and found joy in flowers, often surrounding herself with their beauty. In her final year, she made her home with her son Anthony, with whom she shared a deep bond and much happiness.
Debra is survived by her five loving children: Anthony Fernandez, Chuck Fernandez, Randy Fernandez, Tina Perez (John), and Joey Perez (Victoria). She was a proud grandmother to Cameron, Corey, Samantha, Trinnity, Matthew, Caleb, Kaitlin, Jacob, and Trenton, and a doting great-grandmother to Chloe, Olivia, Abby, and Zachary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ardith and Ralph, and her beloved grandson, Aaron Fernandez.
Debra's kindness, humor, and unconditional love touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for contributions to help with final expenses through a GoFundMe set up in Debra's honor. Donations can be made at http://bit.ly/4dIyrWo
