Dee Ann Brown, age 63 of Centerburg, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 21, 2025 following a brief illness.
The devoted wife of Stuart Brown, Dee was also a beloved mother and grandmother. She was born on December 2, 1961 to the late Robert Cline and Shirley (Elwood) Beck and also preceded in death by her three brothers.
Dee attended Mt Vernon High School and was a graduate of the Knox County Joint Vocational School where she earned certification in cosmetology. She enjoyed working with the elderly and individuals with special needs. Dee also excelled in retail and customer service from which many dear friendships were made in the Centerburg community.
Her passion for flowers and gardening were evident by the numerous awards won at the Centerburg Old Time Farming Festival. Dee enjoyed cooking, food preservation, classic television shows and music. From her favorite spot on the porch swing, she took pleasure in watching the hummingbirds with the family dog at her feet.
Dee is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Stuart A. Brown; their children, Robert A. (Amanda) Brown of Dublin, Ohio and Sarah M. (Nicholas) Cook of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; grandchildren, Samantha Brown, Gavin and Triston Wade, and Silas and Coraline Cook.
Her presence here on earth will be deeply missed, but she will live forever in our hearts.
In lieu of formal services, the family welcomes friends to gather for a casual celebration of Dee's life at the Milford Church of Christ on Saturday July 12, 2025 between the hours of 2-4pm.
Contributions in the memory of Dee Brown may be gifted to the Milford Church of Christ 3648 Johnstown Rd. Centerburg, Oh 43011; or Capital City Hospice via https://capitalcityhospice.com/
