Delia Eugenia Hernandez Vasquez, a beacon of love and warmth, passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 48. She was born on December 12, 1976, in Guatemala.
Delia was the cherished wife of Pablo Vasquez, married on May 15, 1998, in Dallas, TX. Their union was blessed with three loving children, Jeffrey, Paola, and Stephanie Vasquez, who were the center of her life. Her affection extended to her grand dogs, Tommy and Beans.
Delia was the beloved sister to Flor de Maria Hernandez, Carmen Hernandez, and Hugo and Antonio Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Delia Hernandez, and her brother, Rudy Hernandez, whose memories she held close to her heart.
For 14 years, Delia dedicated herself to the Community ISD, where she served with distinction in the lunchroom. Her commitment to countless children earned her honorary rewards as a child nutritionist. Delia's colleagues and the students she served will remember her for her unwavering kindness and her ever-present smile.
In her personal life, Delia was the embodiment of love and care, dividing her time between her garden and the chickens she raised. Her home was filled with creations that expressed her love for painting and sewing, and she believed that cooking was her love language. Her home was always immaculate, a welcoming retreat for family and friends.
Delia loved her family deeply. Her legacy is one of love, passion, and kindness, virtues that she lived by and instilled in those around her.
