Delores was born on January 2, 1929, in Minneapolis, MN to Clarence and Elsie Borman.
She loved sewing, traveling, and playing card games, but her greatest joy was her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Delores is survived by her 6 children, Nancy Ponessa, Paula (Joe) Eckel, Angela (Phil) Filer, Russ (Lisa) Ponessa, Lisa (Dave) Baker, Teresa (Patrick Morrison) Ponessa, her 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and her best friend, Dorothy Pavelka.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Ponessa, her parents and 6 siblings.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 22 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 4030 Jackson St. NE, Columbia Heights, MN. Visitation one hour prior. Luncheon following service. Private Interment at Fort Snelling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society of Minnesota or Sharing and Caring Hands.
