Delveyawn Emond Dixon
February 26, 2002 – June 21, 2025
"Whosoever Liveth and Believeth in Me Shall Never Die" -John 11:26
Delveyawn Emond Dixon, affectionately known as "Dae-Dae," was born on February 26, 2002, in Tallahassee, Florida, as the beloved son of Jackie Dixon, Jr. and Cynthia Tamieka Elaine Miller. They, along with other major influencers - his extended family circle, friends, and neighbors – shaped his life with values, guidance, and encouragement. He was educated in the Gadsden County School System and was a lifelong resident of Havana, Florida.
Delveyawn received in faith what the Lord gives freely in grace. He loved the Lord; he loved going to church to praise and worship Him. During the various phases of his life, his cool, calm, and collected / charismatic personality which reflected God's love and promise, also enabled him to connect with others. He especially treasured the wonderful times they shared. Most important to him, however, was the incredibly special bond he developed with his siblings, cousins, and special friends.
"Dae-Dae" engaged in several leisure activities with great eagerness. He had a passion for playing basketball and looked forward to the challenge as his means of settling down from a busy day. He also anticipated the thrill of the "Call of Duty" game. Nonetheless, he welcomed opportunities for taking plane trips to various destinations, but his ultimate enjoyment was spending quality time with his family.
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Lord looked upon Delveyawn Emond Dixon with eyes of mercy and called his name to depart this earthly life. Then, in a moment and in the twinkling of an eye, he transitioned to his eternal home to receive his heavenly reward.
"Time is not measured by the years that you live but by the deeds that you do and the joy that you give...." Delveyawn Emond Dixon's life, although brief, touched many lives in meaningful ways. The impact he made will forever shine as a fond memory for all who knew and loved him. His legacy of purpose, generosity, and enduring love will forever be embedded in his loved ones' hearts and minds.
