Denise Jaworski (née Bilancini), 67, of Amherst, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, July 4, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
Born on March 13, 1958, in Lorain, Ohio, Denise had made her home in Amherst for many years.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Denise is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Jaworski; her children, Kelli Jaworski, Lindsay Jaworski, Lauren (Tyler) Schlenbaker, and Benjamin Jaworski; and her cherished grandchildren, Riley and Ryan Kohn, Laney Barris, Charly, Luca, and Reid Schlenbaker. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Maureen) Bilancini, David (Bonnie) Bilancini, and Kevin (Kim) Bilancini; her sisters, Karen Bilancini and Debra (Randy) Koleszar and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Eleanor Bilancini (née Kovacs) and her beloved dog, Kree.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035.
