Denise Pinson Roberts, 63, of Monroe, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 25th, 2025.
Born in Warner Robins, Georgia, to DeWitt and Marvell Pinson, Denise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of Christ. She was married for 39 years to her beloved husband, Michael “Tony” Roberts, who preceded her in death in 2020. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, steady faith, and unwavering partnership.
Denise’s life was marked by quiet strength, humility, and a servant’s heart. She never sought the spotlight, but her gentle presence and acts of kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She was happiest when casting a line on the water with Tony, watching for dolphins at the beach, traveling with her close-knit group of girlfriends, or gathered at the table crafting with her grandchildren—always with something sweet nearby. Whether it was a dessert or just a stash of candy, Denise believed there was always room for a little treat.
She is survived by her daughters, Katelyn Snell (Justin) of Bogart, GA, and Ariel Manning (Brock) of Jefferson, GA; her sister, Pam Ayer (Wayne) of Warner Robins, GA; and her four cherished grandchildren: Savannah Snell, Cannon Snell, Bowman Manning, and Bear Manning, who lovingly called her “Yaya.” Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her love into each of them with quiet, steadfast devotion.
Denise will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her calming spirit, and the deep well of love she gave so freely. Her legacy is one of selflessness, compassion, and a life well-lived in service to others.
A visitation to celebrate Denise’s life will be held on Thursday, July 31st, 2025 from 11AM to 1PM at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home - Watkinsville.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Denise’s memory with a donation to a local church or charity that reflects her heart for giving.
