Dennis Carl Burch, 59, of Kerkhoven, died Thursday, July 24th at Cura of Willmar. His celebration of life will be from 3-6:00 pm, Saturday, August 16th at the Willmar American Legion. Memorials are preferred. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar, www.hafh.org

Dennis Carl Burch was born on October 14, 1965, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Robert and Ardis (Iverson) Burch. As the son of a serviceman, Dennis experienced life in many places during his early years before the family eventually settled in Belgrade, Minnesota. He attended elementary school in Belgrade and graduated from Paynesville High School in 1984.

Following graduation, Dennis began what would become a lifelong career at Jennie-O in Willmar. Over the course of 32 years, he worked in Human Resources and later in Worker's Compensation, where he built many lasting relationships and left a meaningful impact.

Dennis was deeply involved in his community. He was an active member of the Eagles Club, the Salvation Army, and Relay for Life. He also contributed his time to the Kerkhoven Parks and Recreation Committee and helped organize the Pillsbury Push 5K in Kerkhoven.

A passionate collector, Dennis had a deep love for memorabilia from Star Trek, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, and anything Marvel. He was also an avid bowler and enjoyed playing frisbee golf. Known for his fun-loving spirit, Dennis had a unique collection of "crazy" socks, which he often picked out just to make his family and friends laugh.

Dennis cherished time with his family and made it a priority to see them often. He took annual vacations with his siblings and their spouses, traveling to many destinations across the country. Among his favorite places were Biloxi, Hawaii, and especially Lake Tahoe.

Dennis was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered for his kind heart, playful sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Dennis is survived by his siblings: Teresa (Harold) Lewsader, Sue (Scott) Beeman, Allen (Donette) Smith, and Janice (Paul) Elbek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
