Dennis Galen Cauble passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on October 20, 1946.
Dennis's journey began in Greenville growing up with his only brother Jerry and parents Galen and Thera Cauble. His life was a testament to the values of hard work and commitment. He found purpose in his career as a journeyman carpenter, contributing to the growth and development of his community. His dedication to his trade was evident in his 20 years of service as a locksmith in the Rockwall and Dallas Metroplex, where his skill and reliability made him a respected figure.
Dennis is survived by his children, Lisa Gail Cauble, Michelle Madden, Bradley Cauble and his wife Latasha, and Johnson Christopher Cauble with Yvette Jackson. Dennis was a proud grandfather to Joshua, Tabitha, Eric, Brittany Thera and husband Luke Ammirati, Ashley, Taylor, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Jonathan, Michael, Rachel, Alyssa and husband Nathan, Kayla, Bradley, and Courtney, great-grandchildren, James Jr., Ryan, Ethan, Aiden, Darren, Jace, Alana, Eric Jr., Kylee Rae, Theodore, Londyn, Loverly, Bryant, Brooks, Harley, Briggs, Brewer, Case, Garret, Chloe, Cameron, and Jordan, his partner, Suzy Barker, first wife, Victoria Cantrel, brother, Jerry Don Cauble, niece, Sarah, and nephew, Jacob.
Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Gail Cauble, partner, Linda Woody, his daughter, Melissa Gail Luna, his grandchildren, Emily Rachel Gheen and Rebekah Alexandria, great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Luna and Gavin Brua and his parents, Galen and Thera Cauble.
Dennis was a role model and leader in the small community of Fate Texas where he raised his family. He took on the role of scoutmaster for his sons, fostering a sense of adventure and responsibility. His professional excellence was recognized when he was named employee of the month at Genesis, where he demonstrated a strong work ethic.
A man of deep faith, Dennis served as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Fate,Texas. But, in the his recent years he was a member at Central Park Baptist Church in Carrollton, Texas. His involvement in various associations, including Brightbank, Genesis Women's Center, and Family Place of Dallas, showcased his commitment to helping others and making a difference in his community.
Dennis found solace in woodworking, creating pieces that were both functional and beautiful. He was an avid fisherman and boater where he loved to catch big fish. Dennis maintained a bountiful garden and loved to share what he grew with family and friends. He also enjoyed raising chickens, bird watching, and cooking and grilling for his loved ones. Dennis also loved spending time with friends and family enjoying a good dinner and telling stories. The most important thing to Dennis was fellowship his family and friends were everything! He will be remembered for his kindness, laughter and sense of duty.
