Denton M Threet, 93, of Stewart, MS passed away on July 5, 2025 in Gulfport, MS. A celebration of life will be held for immediate family in New Haven, MS with date and time pending. Burial will follow at New Haven cemetery. Arrangements are by Trinity Funeral Services.
Denton was born in Stewart, MS to I.W. and Martha Morgan Threet on March 9, 1932. He worked as a sheet metal mechanic for Industrial Enameling in Bay St. Louis, MS. Denton is preceded in death by his parents, Martha Morgan Threet and I.W. Threet, brother Warren Jr. Threet, sisters Peggy Parker, Dorothy Hathcock and Eleanor Lollar, son Daniel Threet and daughter Linda Metcalf, infant grandchildren, Hunter Threet, Gracie Threet and granddaughter, Sonya Saulters. Denton is survived by three children along with their spouses, Larry & Donna Threet, Kelly & George Paul, Donna & Thomas Terry. Grandchildren include Nathan Threet, Danielle Threet, Jerry Saulters, James Threet, Lori Threet and Joshua Parsons. Great grandchildren include Makynzi Threet, Collin Threet, Raegan Threet, Leafei Parsons, Chief Parsons, Hopelyn Saulters Suto, Taylor Saulters, Ainsley Orgain, Kylie Holliday, Ethan Holliday and Aiden Orgain. Denton was an animal lover and will be greatly missed by his granddogs Hazel, Brody, Trevor and Darcy Terry. The family of Denton Threet wish to extend our sincere thanks to Vital Care Hospice, Lakeview Nursing Center and Trinity Funeral Services. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Threet family in their time of need and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
