With profound sadness, I announce the passing of my dear brother, Devin Rory Booth, 40, on July 11, 2025 in Frostburg, MD. Born on April 11, 1985, Devin's friends and family knew of his lust for life and his warm heart for the people close to him. He had a true love for music, movies, and spending quality time with the people he loved.
He had many talents which included making his own music, singing, and performing for people. When he was a child he enjoyed drawing his own comics and adventuring with his siblings. Through the "ups and downs" he would always be there if needed and his family was very special to him.
He is survived by his father, Dusty Booth and step-mother Karen Booth; mother, Alana Hay Miller and step-father Jim Miller, siblings; DJ Booth and wife Kat, Dirk Booth, Alicia Booth, Christina Lockard, and step-sister Amber Athey; children, Alexis MacMillen, Dakota Lynch, Addison Booth, Dayton Booth and Elena Corley; his grandmother, Karen Davis; grand-daughter Emberlyn; and nieces, Ellie, Lila, and nephew Luca; as well as his best friend Shari Wright.
He is preceded in death by his fiance and love of his life Melissa (Mel) McAteer. His spirit will live on in our hearts forever. There will be no funeral. However, a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date for his family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated and may be made to the Durst Funeral Home in his memory.
