Chassell Devin C. Wright, 33, a resident of Chassell, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025. He was born on December 26, 1991, in Warsaw, Indiana, the son of Kevin Wright and Connie (Hurley). He was raised for a short time in Indiana before moving to the Copper Country where he would attend local schools. Devin has a passion for cooking. He worked at Applebee's the Continental and most recently, The Harbor Haus where he was always accompanied by his favorite chef's knife that he got from his sister Hannah. Besides cooking, Devin enjoyed fishing, carpentry/construction work and growing flowers. He enjoyed looking at the stars and talking about space. Devin was a very loving father, brother, son, nephew and friend and he will be sorely missed. Preceding Devin in death are: His brother, Cody Nichols, his grandmother Ruby Hurley and his best friend, Matthew Wickstrom. He is survived by his mother: Connie (Steve) Beaudoin His father: Kevin Wright His children: Kaedin Hyde, Paisley Wright and Kinsley Wright His sister: Hannah Nichols His girlfriend: Madison LaPointe His half-siblings: Elizabeth Bradley, Mallory Wright, Kevin Swihart, Daryl Wright and Rylie Wright. He is further survived by numerous cousins and friends. A memorial service for Devin will be held at 1pm, Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Hancock with Pastor TJ Stauffer to officiate.
