Devonne Frisinger, age 88, of Wittenburg, WI, passed away peacefully at her home, Saturday, June 7, 2025. She was born April 15, 1937, in Cumberland, WI to the late Erling and Myrtle (Beecroft) Mjaanes, and was a graduate of Cumberland High School.
She married Rodney Frisinger on September 15, 1956, and they were able to celebrate 60 years of marriage together.
When Devonne and Rodney moved to Suamico, WI in 1969, she worked with her husband at his trucking company as the dispatcher. Later in life, Devonne attended college at UW Eau Claire and UW Green Bay for a paralegal degree. She also attended WI Indianhead Technical College for municipal operations. In 1987, she was appointed Town Clerk of Suamico, WI. In 1996, Devonne and Rodney decided to move to Wittenberg, WI, where she was the Town Clerk for several years. Devonne had a great compassion for the people of the towns she worked for.
While she lived in Suamico, she was Chairman of the Lutheran Social Services Advisory Board and was involved with the Lioness Club. Devonne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a deep affection for her family and spending time together. She also enjoyed shopping, going to craft shows, and traveling with Rod. She was an avid reader and a great cook and loved canning garden fresh vegetables. She had a passion for collecting dolls and even had some specially made. Her home reflected all the things she loved.
Devonne is survived by one son: Todd (Lisa) Frisinger; grandchildren: Nic Frisinger (Christina); Abbey (Jake) Roes; great-grandchildren: Vienna and Olivia Frisinger and Rhett Roes. She is further survived by Terri and Richard's children: Brandee (Tim) Ledford, Kaycee Cook, Patrick (Tess) Hendricks, Katie (Shane) Shawanokasic and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister: Jan Helgeson and Jan's daughters Lindsay and Jaime. Devonne had a very special place in her heart for her little dog "Rascal", who stayed by her side until the end.

The family would like to thank the staff at Compassus Hospice: Roseann, Lauren, Jennifer, Brandy, Kim, Chaplain Mark and Cornerstone Caregiving: Holly T.
